Why You Should Travel Together…Sooner Rather Than Later

Before taking the matrimonial plunge or getting more serious with your significant other, you should travel together. We’re not talking about lounging on the beach or overnighting at a bed and breakfast. We’re talking about navigating unknown territory, embarking on a real adventure. Here’s why:
  1. You’ll learn how your partner handles stress.
Traveling always has elements of uncertainty. Will the hotel be okay? How do we exchange money? What if the museum is closed? The answers to these questions, however, are much less important than the way your partner behaves when plans change. Does he or she get angry or dismissive when stress runs high? Or, are you finding resolution together? A life together will inevitably have challenging moments; count yourself lucky if you’ve found someone who can roll with the punches.
  1. You’ll find out the little things that you would otherwise only learn over time.
Spending an extended period of time together forces habits and personality quirks to surface. You will quickly discover what your partner needs to feel comfortable—and also what happens when your partner gets exhausted. You’ll learn basic living preferences like how much sleep he or she really needs before getting cranky. And, you’ll see his or her street smarts at play when it comes to navigating and making new friends.
  1. You’ll understand your partner’s sense of adventure.
While traveling, you’ll experience new things—new food, new people, new surroundings. As exciting as an unknown adventure is, it’s not for everyone. If you’re seeking thrills, and your partner is happy with routine, pay attention! You may not be as compatible as you thought.
  1. You’ll have no choice but to let it all hang out.
When stomach aches happen on vacation, you’ll have no choice but to live your embarrassing moments in front of your significant other. Getting over the “manners hump” can be challenging, but on vacation it’s impossible to avoid. Be prepared to understand what true intimacy is all about.
You should learn how your partner behaves in a variety of situations; travel has a way of fast-tracking your education. Ready to make plans?

The Foods You Need to Avoid to Keep Your Skin Clear

It's not necessarily greasy foods that are the culprits. It was an old wives’ tale worthy of medical research. Researchers managed to prove way back in 1969 that your chocolate noshing wasn’t causing you to break out, and that was a relief. In fact, science has since proven that certain foods can get rid of your acne. But that’s not to say that said old wives weren’t on to  something  because what you eat really does make a detrimental difference when it comes to your complexion,  according to Men’s Health. A study  published in the  Journal of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics ventured to figure out exactly what the problematic pimple-causing foods were. The research involved two groups of 32 participants; one group had clear skin, the other had moderate-to-severe acne. Each group was asked to complete a five-day food diary and then get blood work done. Of all the participants, 61 percent believed that their diets were affect...

Ida Lundgren and Bianca Van Damme Could Easily Kick Your Butt!

If there were ever two fathers whose daughters would be genetically programmed to kick butt, those would be Jean Claude Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren – two of the most badass actors-slash-martial-artists of our time. They have both taught their little daughters how to defend themselves and look fantastic while doing it. Let’s look at Dolph and Ida first Just like Dolph’s character in Rocky IV, Ivan Drago, his 21-year-old daughter Ida was asked to show off her amazing skills on the boxing ring as well. And, boy, did she deliver! In this photoshoot for Muscle&Fitness, Dolph is probably showing Ida some secret moves and teaches her about the weak spots and how important the footwork is. Maybe he even told her how to beat Sylvester Stallone. Or maybe I’m imagining thing. These days Ida is an aspiring young model, but she’s got a long way to go to be as popular as her dad. She may look like a frail girl most of the time, but don’t let her cute looks fool you! Ida can and...

Fortnite's Greasy Grove Treasure Map: Where To Find The Treasure

There's a new treasure map available in  Fortnite: Battle Royale.  This time you'll find the map tucked away in Greasy Grove as one of Season 4, Week 5's challenges. This is the first time during Season 4 for the challenges to drop on Thursday morning rather than Tuesday morning. The Greasy Grove treasure map comes on the heels of yesterday's v4.3 update. If you want to find the treasure this week, you can either head to Greasy Grove and search for the map, or you can read this guide which will lead you right to it. If you look closely you'll see this image almost resembles a face. Turn it so that the compass is facing north and you'll see it's the Evil Lair near Snobby Shores. The nefarious base, which was added as part of Season 4's mysterious villains vs superheroes theme, is just to the north-east of Snobby Shores, and the treasure itself can be found right on the outside 'nose.' Grab the treasure and you'll add 10...
