Thousands expected to fill downtown Portland for annual Starlight Parade Saturday night





PORTLAND, Ore. — 
Thousands of people are expected to fill downtown Portland for the annual Rose Festival Starlight Parade Saturday night.
The Portland Thorns will be the Grand Marshal to honor their 2017 championship title.
The parade starts at 8:30 PM.
Several streets will be closed off and traffic will be impacted downtown.

Press Barred From Reception at Samantha Bee Event Following Controversy

Attending media was told by a Television Academy rep that press would not be allowed into the reception "as a result of today’s events involving Samantha B." The same day Samantha Bee apologized for calling Ivanka Trump a “feckless c—,” she was set to be honored by the Television Academy along with six other shows relating to social change.
